Intricate Keyhole

For the locals...

Okay, so you’re going to get up early on Black Friday and go shopping. We understand, and we forgive you. But after you’ve turned your credit card white-hot from friction in the card swipe machines and filled the car with stuff, you’re going to go home and take a nap, right? Then you’ll wake up at 5:00 or 6:00 and be wondering what in the world you’re going to do with your evening.

Aren’t you the lucky person -- because we have a solution! Turn your Black Friday into Gray (haired) Friday -- come to Silverton Cafe and listen to FLYWHEEL play! After all, Silverton Cafe has everything you need: a place to sit and relax; stuff to drink; stuff to eat. And music -- or at least some reasonable facsimile of it.

Flywheel will be playing our usual weird and strange mix of music, everything from an original tune or two to songs about surrealist artists. Yep. Really. Where else can you hear that? Nowhere, that’s where.

Come and watch Steve try to juggle two guitars and a bass. Hear the Fearsome Manditar roar! Watch what happens when a genuine mandolin is caressed by the hands of Chris. Listen to Dale complain about the songs Tom likes. Watch Tom Vogel drop his sticks -- actually, the audience should stay alert the entire time we’re playing just in case those flying sticks don’t land in your beer. Listen to Flywheel train wreck a minimum of two songs an hour!

It’s going to be FABULOUS FANTASTIC FUN! Don’t miss it! You really should be there, because if you're not, you won't be.

See you Friday! Silverton Cafe on Montgomery Road in (duh) Silverton! We’ll be playing 8:00 - 12:00 (we hope!)
